This policy covers paid plans on Cutline (“the service”), operated by Dayanand Kumar. It sits alongside the terms of service.
1. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, from your account, without giving a reason and without speaking to anyone. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not end the plan you have already paid for — you keep the service and whatever credits remain until the end of the period you paid for, and the plan simply does not renew. You are never charged for a period that starts after you cancel.
2. Refunds
Within 7 days of a charge, you can have that charge back in full, provided you have used no more than half of the credits it bought. Write to daya@cutlinehq.com and say so. No form and no reason required.
Past half of a period’s credits, a refund is not automatic. This is not a penalty — credits are spent computation rather than a licence, so once they are used the cost of producing that work has already been incurred and cannot be recovered. If something went genuinely wrong, write anyway and it will be looked at properly.
After 7 days, a charge is not refunded, and cancelling part-way through a paid period does not produce a partial refund of it. You keep the remainder of what you paid for instead.
3. When the software fails, you are not charged for it
This happens automatically and needs no request from you. If a generation fails — the model errors, a request times out, an upstream service is unavailable — the credits it cost are returned to your balance as part of handling the failure. You do not pay for output you did not receive.
If you were charged credits for something that produced nothing and the balance was not restored, that is a bug. Tell me and I will fix both your balance and the bug.
4. Not liking the output
Worth stating plainly, because it is the most likely reason someone wants their money back. Generated ideas, scripts and posts are produced to order and consume credits when they run, so a completed generation you were not impressed by is not by itself grounds for a refund of those credits.
The 7-day window above exists precisely so this is not a trap: if the service is not what you expected, ask inside it and you get your money back. Beyond that, tell me what came out badly — the scoring rules and prompts change on the strength of that kind of message more than anything else.
5. The free plan
Nothing to refund and nothing to cancel. The 100 starting credits cost you nothing, carry no card, and expire on no schedule. You can stop using the service and nothing further happens.
6. How a refund reaches you
Refunds are returned to the original payment method — they cannot be sent anywhere else. Once approved, expect 5 to 10 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. That part is outside my control; the approval is not, and I will confirm by email as soon as it is done.
7. Account closure
Cancelling a plan and deleting your account are separate. Cancelling leaves your account and your saved work in place on the free plan. If you also want the account and its contents removed, ask and it will be deleted — see the privacy policy for what deletion covers.
8. Asking
Everything here goes to daya@cutlinehq.com, and it reaches the person who wrote the software rather than a queue. Requests are answered within 2 business days, usually the same day.
